Your Perfect Partner for Taking That Next Step in Learning About Horses and Yourself

Kelsi Mayther

Kelsi also has over 10 years of teaching experience and has just graduated from WSU.  She is back at TPA giving Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced lessons.  Kelsi currently has her pony in the straight up bridle and we are so proud of her and Elf.  Like all of our students, Kelsi can navigate a cross country course, jump a stadium course, quietly move through an obstacle course, or rope a small cow.

Gary & Charlie Anderson

They have owned the farm in the Olympia location since 1982 and have been an accredited business since 1976.

Our History

Welcome to Timepiece Arabians. We have been in the business of providing quality riding lessons since 1976. Our equestrian facility is located in the Boston Harbor area of Olympia and includes a 60' x 180' covered arena, an outdoor arena, a round pen; a cross-country course and an obstacle course; a large barn with stalls and a tack room; several large pastures and multiple paddocks; and 15 lesson horses.

We strive to make horseback riding fun, informative and safe. Our students can jump a fence, ride a dressage test, throw a rope and track a cow. Here at TPA students learn how to ride, care for and safely work around horses and many of our students have gone on to careers in the horse industry or have invested in owning their own horse.

We sponsor clinics throughout the year and encourage our instructors and students to participate in or audit clinics here at the farm, or held elsewhere in the region. In addition to the clinics, we host two to three summer camps per year, which are open to anyone wanting to improve their riding skills. Additionally, for 31years we have had a relationship with the Pacific Rim Study groups at Saint Martin's University, giving our students an opportunity to show their horsemanship skills to the young Japanese women, and participate in a cross-cultural exchange program. It is a wonderful way for them to learn another language and different teaching techniques, and to develop lifelong friendships.

If you are interested in lessons and becoming a better partner for the horse(s) in your life, please call to make arrangements to visit the farm and observe a lesson. To schedule an appointment, call the Farm at 360-943-9076.

On the "Contact Us" page, you can view a map showing where we are located and learn about nearby amenities. Please click the menus above to browse our website and discover all that we offer. We'd love to have you join us and become part of the 41 year old tradition known as TPA!
