In august we welcome Two pacific rim study groups from japan! It's our 31st year of hosting the groups!
Once again we are eager to host college groups from Japan. Our relationship with St Martins University continues to grow as we invite students and faculty from Okasaki and Mukagawa Universities to the farm for a day of friendship, fun and horseback riding. We will have dates by May 2017.
TPA HAYING SEASON
2017 proved to be an interesting hay year with the long term drought that we experienced. Hay yields were down, prices were up and pasture grass was scarce. Despite the weather we had another super year of tossing hay bales, fun on the fields, sweat, laughter and the immense good feeling of hay stuffed everywhere that we could manage. In 2017, come and hay with us. Lots of folks think that haying is hot and sweaty. Well it is that. But it's also a lot of fun. Learning how to work others in the most efficient way. Learning to navigate a truck, how to stack hay properly...We make fun doing what others consider to be the worst summer job. And we look forward to it! Come join us in 2017 and have a great time.
