TPA has undergone many changes over the last 50 some years and each time there is a change, it seems that we emerge wiser and better in some small way. Life has a way of throwing you what may seem to be curve balls but which actually turn out to be home runs. The future lays before all of us and we are excited to see what it will bring.
At this time, with everyone being vaccinated, we are excited to have instructors that are once again accepting new students age 8 and above for weekly lessons throughout the week. We have been teaching all ages for the last 55 years with 41 of them being at our Olympia farm. We are known for our friendly staff with years of experience, our quality lesson horses, our clean facility, and for our comprehensive program that teaches all aspects of horsemanship.
To learn more about the lesson program and to see if our facility would be a good fit for you,
please go to the lesson program page or call our Farm home phone at 360-943-9076 and leave a message.
Thank you!

At TPA we teach all disciplines of riding during our riding lessons, from Beginning Dressage, to Horsemanship, Stadium Jumping as well as Cross Country Jumping during the summer. Our philosophy is to try to teach our students as much as possible so that eventually we are replaced in some way. We try to provide a setting where our students are well rounded in all facets of riding and stable management and many of our students often go on to owning their own horses.
It doesn't matter what saddle or bridle that you ride in, it's all about understanding the horse and yourself and life in general.
We also breed and selectively sell quality Cardigan Corgis. (The Corgis with the tail) Please check out all the information and photos of the cardigans that we currently have or have bred at the back pages of this site.
We love to continue our own personal education and are never done learning. ( Our instructors are required to attend a clinic at least 2 times a year for their own continuation of their equine education.) We always love when our students do the same to try to enlarge their own educational basis.

We love to continue our own personal education and are never done learning. ( Our instructors are required to attend a clinic at least 2 times a year for their own continuation of their equine education.) We always love when our students do the same to try to enlarge their own educational basis.
We've cut back on summer camps because of time and age, but as we learn more, we are beginning to open camps up to outside riders. Riders need at least 5 lessons with us before attending camps so that everyone has an idea of how we want our students to get ready and so that everyone gets the full experience of our camps. Please check back in March with us for information for 2024
Check our SCHEDULE PAGE for clinic and camp dates, prices, and availability.
